Summer League Draw is now available!

 Summer League

 

Thank you to all of our teams that registered for our Summer League Competition which kicks of on Tuesday 29th October.

 

A few key points for the next few weeks:

  • Draws & Results - The draw has been completed and is available on our website here: https://www.teawamutunetball.co.nz/summer-league/summer-league-draws-and-results

    • There will be no changes to the draw

  • League Rules - A reminder of the rules for this competition can be found here: https://www.teawamutunetball.co.nz/summer-league/summer-league

  • Scoring - this will be done via the MyNetball Manager Game Day App

    • To make it easier for you all to find your scorer codes, we have added them to all the team names

    • Please get your scorers add the scorer code this week to their app to make sure there are no issues 

    • Ensure that you have a scorer available for all the games - they must stand in the box in the centre of the sideline with the scorer from the opposing team.  BOTH scorers will use the app on each game

  • Umpires - A reminder that ALL teams are to provide their own umpires.  There will be no umpires provided by PPTANC

  • Defaults - We do understand that defaults can happen.  Please ensure that if a default is necessary that you do so before the Monday night immediately before the game.  The more notice you can give us, the better.

  • Competition set up:

    • Mixed Grade:

      • There are 2 pools of 5 

      • Pools were randomly generated

      • Each week, there will be a crossover game for each pool.  There will be no points for these games

    • Senior Social

      • There are 2 pools - 1 of 5, 1 of 4

      • Pools were randomly generated

      • Each week, 1 team in the pool of 5 will have a bye

      • The pool of 4 will have one repeat game during the round robin. There will be no points accumulated for the repeated game

    • Playoffs

      • Due to the size of the pools, there will be a semis playoff on the 26th November 

        • One team from Senior Social will have a bye

      • Finals will be 3rd December

        • A different team from Senior Social will have a bye
